Time Flies no. 2

21” x 28” x 1.75”

For this piece I created a nest inside a clock face holding eggs to signify life‘s beginnings. One egg has hatched, revealing a watch with small watch parts spilling from the shell – a reminder that from the moment life begins time is already in motion. Tree branches sprout clock hands like newly emerging leaves signifying that time isn’t separate from nature – it grows, changes, and moves forward, just as the seasons do.

Made with original acrylic painting of sky and clouds, found tree branches, eggs, clock hands, clock face, bird nest, watch face and watch parts.

This piece is framed under glass in 2.5” deep hand-milled pine  frame,
